The International Academy for Media Science (lAMS) is located inside the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) in the 6th October City, Giza, on an area of two million square meters. With experts' testimony, the EMPC represents one of the largest media production institutions in the Middle East, possessing state-of-the-art technical equipment, sophisticated lab capabilities and distinguished technical cadres, thereby achieving integration, quality and diversification.
Interest in setting up the lAMS inside the Media Production City came to underscore the importance of the EMPC's integrated role in contributing to forming, training and qualifying generations of media professionals for bachelor-level specialized university study, both theoretical and practical. It also highlights the EMPC's role in meeting the needs of the media work market, including provision of transfer and complementary studies, ongoing training opportunities as well as free studies for cadres working in the media industry. Such extensive Endeavour stems from the fact that the nature of media production makes it rely on a variety of specializations.
Seeking the materialization of the motto II Media Without Frontiers II since its inception, the Academy developed a system based on extending services and programmes to students in the Arab region and throughout the world.
