This thesis introduces the artificial immune system as a model for a computer antivirus system and investigates other antivirus approaches which were used in the past. As a consequence for the study of the Artificial immune system and its robust characteristics we want to devise an algorithm for virus detection and an algorithm for virus elimination by using processes found in the human immune system when facing a new computer virus. |
